Our Hosted Mail Security service is your inbox or mail servers first line of defence, any messages sent to your domain are received by our Hosted Mail Security servers where they are:

  • Checked against online blacklists of known sources of spam;
  • Scanned for viruses, malware and other similar threats; and
  • Message content is analysed for known spam and phishing trends.

If the email passes the above checks, your message is routed to your inbox or mail server for regular delivery. However, if a message is detected as being spam it is either rejected or sent to your online quarantine.
