Requesting Support

If you require assistance from us, it's usually easier if we can actually see what you're seeing and also control your computer. To do this we use our own secure remote support application which can be used either as a one-time session or installed perminantly for ongoing support as requested.

One-time session

  1. Visit http://ascari.com.au/ and click on the Support link in the top right hand corner.
  2. Click on Remote Support 
  3. Give us a call on 03 6311 0685 or if we already know you need support, your name or business name should appear in the list.
  4. Click on the arrow to the right of your name to start the support session.

If you are prompted to download and run a file, please do so. Once the session is over, the software will be closed. 

Installing our Support client software 

  1. Visit http://ascari.com.au/ and click on the Support link in the top right hand corner.
  2. Click on Remote Support (Downloads)
  3. Download the version appropriate for you:
    • Windows users should download and run the file called Remote Support - Windows Installer.exe (or .msi is also fine).
    • Mac users should download and run the file called Remote Support - Mac OS X Insaller.pkg 
    • Linux users should download the appropriate installer file for the Linux distribution (Red Hat or Debian).
  4. Open the file you download and install the software accepting any prompts that may appear

Note: When the installation is done, the installer will close without displaying a confirmation dialog but to confirm the installation was successful you should see an icon in your system tray called "Ascari ITG Support" followed by your computer's name.
